Open Water Swim Lesson and Group Swim on Saturday April 30th at 9am – Instruction by Certified Triathlon Coach Jose Grimaldo Jr. - owner TRI-AGS Triathlon Training Program

We will cover topics that concern open water swimming. We will then take a group swim around the 500m race course. Feel free to join us for this pre-race instruction and group swim. The Group swims and Instructional training are open to anyone interested in doing the Triathlon – whether you’re registered or not.

USAT LICENSE
Membership in USA Triathlon or a USAT One-Day Event Permit is required to participate. USAT annual membership information is available at http://www.usatriathlon.org or you may purchase a one-day permit with your race registration for an additional $9.00. ALL relay team members must have a valid USAT license or purchase $9.00 one-day event permits.
ENTRY TRANSFER POLICY
All entries are non-transferable to other individuals. Under USAT rules, athletes identified as transferring entries on their own may be suspended from the sport. Participants found racing under another persons' name will be disqualified and both entrants will be banned from next year's event.
REFUND POLICY
Refund Policy: There will be absolutely NO REFUNDS. If you are unable to compete due to illness and/or injury then you may qualify for a Medical Transfer to the 2005 event.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
Hotel accommodations are at the historic La Salle Hotel - only minutes from Lake Bryan - you can get a standard queen room at the triathlon group rate of $59.00 per room per night, and the queen Jacuzzi suite is $89.00 per room per night. This rate includes an expanded continental breakfast, served from 6:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. If you'd like, you can visit the website at www.lasalle-hotel.com for a virtual tour of the property and room amenity information.
