Power Pedal 2011 Pictures
BTU proudly presents Power Pedal 2011 on Saturday October 8th at Lake Bryan, Texas. This year BTU will be offering 4 events: 5k trail run; 10 trail run; mountain bike half trail, and a mountain bike full trail, approximately 9.07 miles. Each event will offer cash prizes and awards.
Chip timing will be provided by Cadence Sports.
If you do not wear a chip, you will not be timed and therefore will not be included in any results. All chips must be surrendered at the finish line.
Registration:
***Early Registration ends Monday September 26th at 5 pm***
Sign up during early registration to save yourself $5-$10 and be guaranteed a T-Shirt.
Online registration closes Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 3 p.m.
Early registrants are guaranteed a t-shirt.
Dry-fit shirts are also available during early registration for an additional $10.
No refunds or exchanges.
Race Day Registration:
Day of Registration 6:30 am to 30 minutes prior to race start time at race site off Rye School Rd.
Packet Pick Up:
9 am – 4 pm Friday, October 7, 2011 at the main office of Bryan Texas Utilities located at 205 E 28th St Bryan, Texas 77802. Come in the front entrance and see the secretary to the right.
You can also pick up your packet the morning of October 8th at race site beginning at 6:30 am.
Trail Runs:
The 5K and 10K include trails such as Little Warda and Doggie Dash on the West Loop of Lake Bryan.
The race runs through the woods over rock beds, roots and hills providing participants of all levels and categories with both beautiful scenery and thrilling competition. This event has standard age category breakdowns for both men and women.

Mountain Bike Race:
The predominantly single track mountain bike trail race includes trails such as Roller Coaster, Munerlyn Loop and BMX loop on the East Loop of Lake Bryan. The mountain bike race will have men’s and women’s divisions. This event has standard age category breakdowns for individual male and female. Participants must wear a helmet and use a mountain bike.

Course:
Directions:
The start/finish line for this year will be just inside the gate on Rye School Road. Rye School Road is the first road on your right just past the main entrance to Lake Bryan. Park anywhere along the road. Parking is based on first come first serve. Please do not block anyone's house or driveway.
Invitation and Information:
BTU invites you to not only come out and participate in Power Pedal 2011, but also make a day out of your trip to Lake Bryan. Bring the fishing poles, kayak or volley ball. Plan to eat lunch at Lake Bryan’s Ice House Bar/Grill Restaurant. You can even visit www.lakebryan.com to reserve your campsite for the weekend. Whether you are participating or out to support a contestant with pictures and water distribution, enjoy your visit to Lake Bryan.
